Hi everyone,

i have done a 2D SA turbulence case of the RAE2822 as per conditions of case study #4 on NPARC Alliance Validation website, M=0.729, alpha=2.31 etc. my model under predicted the position of the shock by about 5%. the mesh looks fine and gives a Y+<1. the residual converged at 1e-05.

so i really have two questions, 1) can this result be improved upon and how? 2) Are the free stream conditions given for case study #4 corrected values?

thanks,

Greg
