Hello CFD Online members

I'm new in ANSYS Fluent. I'm trying to calculate the flow around a rotating disc. For this purpose I have received an EXCEL table. There you can find lots of time points [s] and the corresponding rotational velocity around the z-axis [rad s^-1]. Now I want to use the data to create a function, so FLUENT selects automatically the "right" velocity, based on the time point.

How can I do it?

It would be nice, if you could help me.

greetings
chris

You need to write a UDF. I am not sure but you may use DEFINE_ZONE_MOTION. You should definitely check the UDF manual to find a solution to your problem anyway.
