Dear All,

I am using FLUENT software.
I am modeling MIXTURES(4 phases all are Gases) model.
I know mixture volume flow rate at inlet.
I know volume fractions of each phase.
How can i calculate each phase velocity ?

superficial velocity = volume flow rate / area
All inlets have same inlet area.

Physical velocity = superficial velocity / volume fraction

If i use this physial velocity while solving i am getting more volume flow rate than i give at the inlets. I am specifying the volume fractions & velocities at the inlet and pressure at the outlet.

Please reply me if anybody has worked earlier on mixtures.
