Y+ range for Large Eddy simulations

Hello, As we are Using K-epsilon Model, we have some ranges of y+ Values for different, Wall Boundary conditions as Below

for Standard and Non-Equiliburium wall functions , Y+ is in between 30 and 300, and for the case of Enhanced wall treatment, y+=~1.

so , similarly , I'd like to know , what could be range for Large Eddy Simulations....

Please, try to send me the reply as soon as possible.. Thankssssssssss.

Re: Y+ range for Large Eddy simulations

Try a y+ value of no more than 2 to start with. I pretty much depende on what you are actually trying to resolve though. Suggest that you look throug some of Moin and Kim's papers for their boundary conditions in a simple channel
