outlet boundary condition -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

khalid Guest Posts: n/a	I have read in one of the journal that "at the exit of the flow passage the radial gradient of velocity and heat flux are zero" here the outlet is in the radially outward direction inbetween the two circular plates this is what iam using in my project I cant clearly understand what does the above statement mean? can anyone explain it please? so what is the outlet condition i should take? thanks. with regards, khalid.....
