hi to all i have found an error message during solution as "turbulent viscosity is limited to viscosity ratio of 1 E 05". What does this mean and how this can be modified?

thanking you

Means that the values in some cells that the solver is getting are above 1 E +05 for turbulent viscosity which is impossible and so fluent only allows it to go to a max of 1 E +05.

If this is happening at the beginning of the solution process then disappearing as the solution progresses then it's nothing to worry about. If it's happening at the end and making your solution unstable then I don't know what to suggest but check all BC's, models, etc - I've never heard of this so doubt it is the case - it's just a process the solver goes through in searching for the correct answer.

If the final result you get has converged nicely and isn't all unstable and taking lots and lots of iterations then the result is the exact same as if the turbulent viscosity wasn't limited.
