turbulent viscosity ratio

What is the range of turbulent viscosity ratio in inlet of turbomachinery?Thank you!

Re: turbulent viscosity ratio

Read CFD-Wiki. There is something about this written there. What eddy viscosity ratio you have depens on which component you are interested in. It can range from say 10 for a fan rotor to say 10000 for the inlet to an HP turbine. In general I would not recommend using this as an inlet condition though. I find it more intuitive to specify a tublence level and a turbulent length scale.
