EDC and cell time scale

Concerning result evaluation when using EDC: In chapter 30.4 in the help file the time scale used in the EDC model is called "Fine scale Transfer rate" but in fluent version 6.3.26 I can only find "cell time scale". In the help file "Fine scale Transfer rate" is referred to as the reciposal of the time scale. Do these refer to the same value?

Concerning the same subject the help file mentions a parameter called "1-fine scale volume fraction" but in the program I think it is called "EDC cell volume fraction". Are these also referring to the same value? thank you in advance -Trine

Yes.

Yes. "1-fine scale volume fraction" is one minus the EDC cell volume fraction so that plots show high values in the high turbulent zones.
