i am trying to import a geometry from autocad. I am importing a *.sat of 3Mb into gambit but it is really slow. I have a great processor and i dont think the size of the files is so big. in gambit, i go to file / import/ asci Do you know if i have another way to export this file into ganbit? thank you

sat should be your best bet. Gambit can import up to version R15.

Slow import times might be a sign of geometry that needs healed.

Try the 'binary' option in the import dialog.

actually the time to import its ok but when i want to move the geometry is too slow. It is why i was wondering if there was no way to import it with maybe a bit less quality?

i dont think as well that is the video card. Actualli i saw that gambit is only using one CPU from the dual core processor. Do you know anyway to work with parallel processor in gambit? thank you

nope. Gambit does not run in parallel and never will.

If the display is slow when panning/rotating then a faster video card will help.
