Hi, I'm trying to create a new material to inject in DPM. everytime I create this new material, and enter all the properties, I'm unable to save it, it'll give me an error message..

Any idea why?

Can anybody please give me a brief procedure on how to do it?

your help is greatly appreciated! thx

1- Define > Materials 2- User-Defined Database 3- I create a new file 4- New 5- I enter the name, type (droplet-particle), and insert properties 6- when I click apply, i get the following error:

Error: CAR: invalid argument [1]: wrong type [not a pair] Error Object: ()

Error: list-remove: null list Error Object: #f

Error: GENERAL-CAR-CDR: invalid argument [1]: improper list Error Object: #f

Is it necessary to create the new material in the User-Defined Database? To create a mixture, for example, usually I add the species I need from the Fluid panel, then I select Mixture and, using the Edit button, I add the species I want to be in the mixture, then under Name in the main Material panel I rename it as I want so I can eventually modify mixture and/or species properties.

I use to create first of all one injection with the default parameters (inert particle). Then I go to the material panel, I choose in material type "inert", I write there the desired parameters (name, density...) and save it. normally I overwrite anthracite (the default inert material). But that only works when you are using inert particles!
