Require help in "Merging Grid Zones"

Hello all!

I request this community members to please help me in solving this case file.

I have a mesh file of an automotive engine which I have to simulate in Fluent and Rad-therm.

I intend to merge certain volume zones into single zone to obtain a surface which I have to use for post-processing. To prevent solution from getting affected with possible non-conformality which may occur due to merging, I feel its neccesary to perform simulations with the modified mesh.

Please suggest if there is a way which provides the feasibility of either:

1. Merging all the zones below certain boundary for eg: y=1.

OR

2. It would be best if you someone can suggest a way by which I can slect the desired zones in the Graphical User Interface.

Kindly suggest me a possible procedure either in Gambit or Fluent for the same.

Look forward for a kind reply from your side.

Nitesh.
