Hi,

I'm modelling water flow in a three dimensional fracture. I need to create a file.dat which shows the velocity value in each cell associated with the xyz position in space of the center of the cell. Something like this X Y Z velocity 1 1 1 0.2 2 1 1 0.3 3 1 1 0.15 etc. etc.

Is it possible? Can you help me? Thanks

Dear Pelli, Just create post-processing zone and make it type as interior. In this way you can create artificial cuts through channel and get values of velocities, temperatures by iterating all cells values... However if you like to have those values for whole fluid zone, simply do iteration over or cells in specific zone using UDF, look at UDF manual - there you have many examples

There are many options available in fluent to access the final results. You can go with iso-surface/ grid or create line and can plot the properties over the line.
