Default LOOP OVER a ZONE

Hi all;

My model is a conjugate heat construction consist of wall and fluid zone ; I need to write a UDF in a part of code and I want to loop on cells in fluid zone only . How is this looping type possible. Please lead me .

Asghari,

Are you familiar with the begin_c_loop and thread_loop_t (or something like that) functions ?

If not then you should look at the user guide where they have lots of examples. They are very easy to implement and you should start your program with the begin_c_loop function immediately followed by the thread_loop_t function.

YOU SHOULD CHECK THE GUIDE TO MAKE SURE I HAVE THESE THE CORRECT WAY AROUND AND CORRECT TYPING, ETC.

If however you are familiar with these and are having problems limiting the looping to 1 particular zone, then I think you need to define each separate zone in your UDF then loop over only one set of cells.

OK,

I am familiar with these macros.

But how can I adress solid zone for a thread(zone) and fluid zone with a another zone?

Can you help me?

Sorry mate I haven't used udf's all that much but the next time I see my mate who uses them alot for his fuel cell research I'll show him this post.
