Error

Hi,

when I iterate my model i get the following error: "ERROR:> (Greater-than): invalid argument [2]: wrong type [not a number], ERROR OBJECT: nan" does anybody know what it means? Thanks

Hey Pelli,

Can you give more detail about your model?

Re: Error

I'm modelling water flow in a three-dimensional rock fracture with rough surfaces. I had some problems because in some areas the fracture is closed (aperture=0), therefore the upper and lower surfaces correspond, the model here becomes flat and when i mesh it i get inverted and skewed elements in this areas. So instead of aperture 0 i tryied to give a small aperture in this zones and define no flow edges (wall) all around the area. In this case there are not inverted and skewed elements, moreover now i'm not getting that error message anymore. But i think the program is not really doing what i'm asking and results are not representative as i'm superimposing edges to a preexisting volume(the whole fracture), and i'm double-meshing the no flow edges, because after meshing the whole fracture, GAMBIT requires me to mesh the no flow edges. In poor words what i'm trying to do is creating a small no flow area in a preexisting volume. Thanks Thanks a lot

Re: Error

Sorry, when i wrote edges in the previous post i actually meant faces.
