Turbulent Boundary Layer on a Flat Plate

I am modeling flow over a flat plate in FLUENT and comparing my results to theoretical solutions. I have already completed the protion for Laminar BL FLUENT data compared to Blasius theory. FLUENT solutions looks good...

My next task is to model a turbulent boundary layer and compare results to Klebanoff experimental data. I am to use the Schlichting Boundary Layer theory book to compare fluctuating turbulent velocity components. My questions are as follows...

1. What is the most appropriate Turbulence model to use? Computational power is not an issue (I am operating on a LINUX cluster). Since the data involves turbelent shear, is the RSM model the best?

2. How do I obtain data for the fluctuating components (u' v' w') from FLUENT? The software outputs velocity (or other properties), but doesn't break them down into their mean and fluctuating components.

3. What is the definition of delta (BL thickness) in Turbulent boundary layers. Is it still the condition at which u = 0.99*Uinf?

4. Do you know anywhere I can get the theoretical / experimental data in tabular or electronic format so I can plot FLUENT data against it in EXCEL?

Regards rotion for Laminar BL FLUENT data compared to Blasius theory. FLUENT solutions looks good...

Accuracy in Boundary Layer solution in Fluent

Dear what accuracy level you are getting with fluent solution for laminar flow.

weather there is any effect of local acceleration above boundary layer ?
