1 file(s) copied. (chdir "libudf")() (chdir "ntx86\2d")() 'nmake' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. 'nmake' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

Opening library "libudf"... Error: open_udf_library: The system cannot find the file specified.

How do I rectify this ?

Thanks

Dear Sid sure that your problem is about VS instalation. you certainly must reinstall VS , during instalation you face whit a option by this title: "register enviroment varible ". you must check it and go on instalation. Best Amir

If you have installed the Visual studio 2005, you can try..

Start->All programs->Microsoft visual studio 2005 ->Visual studio tools ->Visual Studio 2005 Command Prompt

After the operation, you can see a DOS interface. Use DOS command to find your work fold, and then run fluent. (You directly input "fluent" after DOS prompt and click "return" key)

Open your case and compile UDF. It should be OK.

Good luck.

If you have installed the Visual studio 2005, you can try..

Start->All programs->Microsoft visual studio 2005 ->Visual studio tools ->Visual Studio 2005 Command Prompt

After the operation, you can see a DOS interface. Use DOS command to find your work fold, and then run fluent. (You directly input "fluent" after DOS prompt and click "return" key)

Open your case and compile UDF.

but following the mentioned path......Start->All programs->Microsoft visual studio 2005 ->Visual studio tools ->Visual Studio 2005 Command Prompt

we could not able to find the Visual Studio 2005 Command Prompt...nd could not use the dos to find the work fold. i.e. we icon we have to click after following the path... Start->All Programmes->Microsoft viual studio 2006->visual studio tools-> wht nxt???? pls specify step by step procedure to compile the UDF afer reaching this step. nd wht DOS commands are reqd.
