Specification of density as a function of Depth

Hi everyone, Please help me to solve this problem. I am using water as working fluid and am wondering how can I use the variable density as a function of height in my domain. My domain is about 20 meters deep and I want to include the change in density functions. Boundary conditions are velocity inlet, outflow and slip walls. Thanks for your help. Endee

Re: Specification of density as a function of Dept

you can use a UDF to calculate the density using the y-coordinate values. Check out the UDF manual for a detailed description.

why is density varying 'coz of depth??? is it because of gravity??? tell in detail then maybe we can suggest something..
