VOF - operating density

Hi,

I am simulating refrigeration ejector in VOF multiphase model which has three phases(refrigerant vapor, liquid and water)

Is it necessary to specify the density of lightest fluid as operating density in the operating condition panel. what is the significance of this.

Thanks in advance,

JSM

Re: VOF - operating density

If you interested with gravity effect you need to set the operating density for the lighter phase/fluid and if you not you have no need for it and keep everything default.

Hi YY,

Thanks for reply. I have one more clarrification in multiphase model. I am simulating condensation also in vof model. Only mass transfer UDF is enough or Source term UDF also needed.

Could you give me your personal mail id. I want to share the physics and your suggestions about my simulation.

with regards, JSM
