Hi,
I am working on simulating flow through porous media in FLUENT and would like to investigate the residence time distribution (RTD) of a pulse tracer in the porous medium. I'd like to know how does one model injection of a pulse tracer in FLUENT? For example, how do I model an injection of benzene (of concentration C1) in a carrier fluid of say, methanol ? Thanks, Vivek |

u can use species transport model "without reaction" to model such type of tracer studies. You have to go through the chapters in modeling guide of FLUENT related to species transport model.
