3D unconfined sphere
Dear I'm simulating the low Reynolds number flow past an unconfined sphere. The solution for Re = 25 was converged to the experimental results with only 2% error. This means that the mesh resolution and configuration are both correct. But when I run the simulation for Re = 0.5 using similar schemes that were used for the mentioned Reynolds number, the downward trend of continuity residuals go into a stall. The minimum drag coefficient, that is attainable after checking a large group of FLUENT's provided schemes, is equal to 98 while the right answer equals 48 (about 100% error). I don√’ know what is the problem? I shall be greatly indebted to you if you help me to override this.
