Hybrid Mesh

Hi,

I know that hybrid grids are becoming more common but I am uncertain how to implement such a mesh. That is, how does one make a seamless transition between tetrahedral and hexahedral mesh elements? I would like to implement this but don't want to generate a poor mesh.

Any help is much appreciated!

This is well covered in the gambit tutorials.

Unfortunately, I do not think I have access to these Tutorials. I am using GAMBIT remotely on a parallel computing mainframe and as far as I'm concerned they do not have the tutorials available.

Any users can access tutorials from www.fluentusers.com with registered details. But anyway you should have a documentation CD that can be installed locally to review html or postscript help files and all mesh/case files as well.
