Hi,
I am doing analysis for a steam turbine...so i have three inputs for this case...mass flow at inlet, inlet pressure and inlet temperature....can any one suggest me that which boundary condition i have to choose...

It is compressible fluid..

If i choose my inlet boundary as mass_flow_inlet and here i can give my inlet mass flow and temperature but inlet pressure cannot be given..

If i choose Pressure_inlet as my inlet boundary condition then here i can give inlet pressure and inlet temp only but amount of mass flow cannot be given

Outlet pressure and temp are not known and i have choosen pressure_outlet as my boundary condition, but oulet pressure and temp are unknown

Can anyone suggest me that which boundary condition can be choosen such that i can give my three inlet parameters, ie inlet pressure, inlet temp and mass flow at inlet....and which boundary condition for outlet as well

Thanks & Regards
Sudhir

You have two options here..
1. Use a pressure outlet with target mass flow rate option (not sure if its available with compressible flow though)

2. Use a mass flow inlet as an outlet (you can do that by specifying the direction vector as pointing out of the domain)

Hope that helps,
