reversed flow &turbulent viscosity

hi,everyone, I have a question that my case was converged ,but there are some additional message such as follows, could you tell me why and how to deal with them?

reversed flow in 5612 faces on pressure-outlet 10. turbulent viscosity limited to viscosity ratio of 1.000000e+005 in 27284 cells ! 832 solution is converged

Re: reversed flow &turbulent viscosity

check for boundary conditions and also for grid quality

Re: reversed flow &turbulent viscosity

my boundary conditions are pressure-inlet and pressure-outlet, i think my grid is ok,because my grid is multi-block structural grid

try to change outflow for your outlet (OR velcoity inlet for your inlet)

when i use the Mass-flow-inlet Boundary, but do not get rid of that promblem

Re: reversed flow &turbulent viscosity

mass flow inlet is mainly for compressible flow. Try like i said to remove the pressure outlet and change into outflow

pressure-outlet may be more suitable for my case, but i will try as your advice, thanks

Hi all I was am also facing the same problem, i tried changing the pressure outlet boundary condition to outflow but no successes. But got rid of it when i decreased the no of nodes in the mesh , but im unable to justify how it happened. any explanation.
