DPM drag coefficient

hello everyone, i'm simulating a 3d fluid flow through a pipe ellbow. In this flow i'm injecting particles with the dpm. so far i don't have any problems. but now i am interested in changing the drag coefficient or the shape of the particles. Is there any way to do this?

thanks a lot Spielkind

Re: DPM drag coefficient

Hi

you can model a custom dpm drag using a user defined function. the macro to be used is DEFINE_DPM_DRAG(). check out the udf manual for the usage.

best wishes, Sujith
