FFT on FLUENT
Hy everyone, I'm trying to use the FFT on Fluent, so I exported the velocity in a point of my flow field. But when I load the TXT file I get this error:
Error: xy-read-file: invalid title Error Object: 12.448884 Error: Error reading file. Error Object: "J:\monitor_ponto_6_V_2.txt" Error: CAR: invalid argument [1]: wrong type [not a pair] Error Object: #f As I can see I'm not exporting on the right way, does anyone did something similar?? Thanks in advance Lourival |
Re: FFT on FLUENT
Hi,
What is that u exactly wanted. As far as I know the fft in fluent is for acoustic analysis for transforming the spl data which is stored in a specified format. Bye Ramesh |
Re: FFT on FLUENT
I want to calculate the turbulent spectrum in a von Karman street... so I have a specific point in the flow and from that I export the velocity history...
From this velocity history I want to calculate the turbulent spectrum... that is the FFT of the velocity. Also, I would like to know if you have any idea of how the Welch method works... Do you know something about it?? Thanks Lourival |
