UDF for time steps

Hi folks,

I am using Fluent to simulate the mass transport in a rotating flow, and have a couple of questions on time steps.

(1) How to decide the initial time steps?

(2) How's the computational accuracy of UDF controlling time steps? I need to simulate large times and small uniform time steps (eg t=0.1s) take really long time.

Thanks in advance for your reply.
