Grid sizing for DES

Hi All
Since the DES model uses both the k-e model for the near wall flow and the LES model for the flow far in the field, and knowing that the LES uses the grid size for filtering, how can I specify the right grid size so that the LES would work properly? |

Thank you for the help Joe. I already enjoyed reading this article some time back, which I found very informative. But it doesn't explicitly say what grid size to use. My application involves velocities in the order of 1 m/s. The problem I'm facing is how to accurately and effectively distribute the grids in both k-e and LES regions?
Kind regards |

Use kw instead of ke.
