Error Display of FLUENT on LINUX FEDORA 7
 
Hi,

I have been working with FLUENT on LINUX FEDORA 7, simulation of my problem: that's OK, But when go to Display->Contours->Temperature, Error: Cannot find Display! Plot->XY->Pressure, Error: Cannot find Display!

Can somepody help me? please!

Hi

Are you choosing specifying a proper surface to display the results on?

One more thing. Is your scale right? Check if you are using the same scale (dimensions) in the simulations and the output.

Are you sure that the DISPLAY environment variable is correctly set?

It's been some time since I last used Unix extensively, so I can only give some hints.

At a command prompt (shell prompt) type:

echo $DISPLAY

Assuming your computer is called "mypc" your system should return something like:

mypc:0

or

mypc:0.0

The DISPLAY variable is the place where the Fluent process looks if it wants to determine on which computer to look for a process to contact to have it's output displayed on screen.

Try this in a Terminal

fluent 2ddp -driver x11

then load your case and data and you should be able to display your data.
