Hi

I suggest you start with an advanced fluid dynamics book or the Fluent manual (modeling turbulence). y+ is a dimensionless distance from the wall which is used to study the different zones of the boundary layer. Depending on the turbulence model being used, the first adjacent node near the wall needs to be within a specific y+ value. For example, for the k-e model, y+ must be between 30 to 300 for the standard wall function and around 1 for the enhanced wall treatment.
