hi,

I'm facing a problem in converting a small region of cells into polyhedral. My grid size is about 13 million with some skewed elements and has taken sometime for setting up the case, the mesh was initially adapted to correct some skewness. Now if i try to convert it to polyhedral I get an error message that the there are Hanging nodes. Is there anyway to tweak this problem in Fluent.

Thanks in advance

Sridhar

I dont think polyhedralisation is allowed on a mesh with existing hanging elements. Polyhedralise first and then adapt.
