Chemkin mechanism import of surface chemistry

Hi users, I am just trying to include a surface reaction mechanism about reforming over nickel. This mechanism has been published by detchem developers, and this mechanism is available as chemkin-format. Therefore I have saved this as .inp file and tryed to import it as surface chemkin mechanism file. But I get the follow error: Please enter chemkin file name. What does it mean and has anybody some experiences with it? I have set up a 2D-model. Thanx Claud

Re: Chemkin mechanism import of surface chemistry

To import a mechanism into Fluent you need a .che file extension which is what you get after running Chemkin. The .inp is the Chemkin input file which you will need to use to create the mechanism in Chemkin.
