non-positive surfaces

Default non-positive surfaces

I am solving a 2-d axisymmetric flow. when i import my mesh to fluent, it gives an error saying as "non-positive surfaces exists"

can anybdy tell me how to go abt.. it.

Use gambit check faces geometry and topology to see if any of the faces fail the check. If they do that's what causes the non-positive surfaces. Also in the tools panel you can check for faces with very small areas and fix any of those which have very small area compared to the rest. If all these are OK and you still have problems - try reading in 2ddp instead of 2d. Hope this helps.
