to make a circular

Hello im a BEGINNER with gambit. I would like to mesh a circle. So i draw the center and 2 other points on the circumference. Then : face->circle and i select the center and the 2 end points. And I apply. A blue circle appears but only one of the 3 points is blue and i do not understand why..so these 2 points are not recognized as part of the circular face can u help me please? thank you.

Re: to make a circular

you can split the circle with any number of points you like. Then apply faces to each quadrant/pie as you see fit

MAX,

The way I used to mesh circles was to create four arcs around a single center point. This allows for easy blending into the rest of the flow field around it. If you see my picture, I created four points with the diagonal from the center point being the length of the radius. Then create another point on the same line just a little further out.

I hope you can see my picture to get an understanding of what I did.

Good luck.
