Finding out face-coordinates from contour-plot

Hi there!
For analyzing the results of a Fluent 3D-simulation, we need to determine the y- and z-coordinates of certain faces in our domain. A horribly complicated way to do this is: *identify the face of interest in a contour- or vector-plot *plot a contour-plot of the grid-coordinate *narrow down the plot-range such that the exact coordinate of the face is returned when right-clicking on it. *repeat this for the other coordinate. However, we'd need to do this more than a dozen times, so our question is: Is it possible to determine the coordinates of a face directly out of a contour-and-grid- or vector-and-grid-plot? (And if yes, how?!) Thanks in advance! |
