Transient boundary conditions

Hello everybody,

I'm using fluent 6.2.16 and i have to simulate the inlet manifold of an engine. I'd like to set transient boundary of pressure at the outlet but I understand nothing to the fluent help.

Can someone help me?

Do you mean your B.C at the outle varying with the Time? If it's tru I guss you have to write a UDF to set your B.C correctly.

yes, they are varying with the time. I heard about UDF, but I don't know how to do. Where can I find some examples?

What I need to do is to vary from a wall type condition to a pressure outlet type condition during a time and I don't know what to write in the UDF...

Yau can actually write it within UDFs and you need to write a simple DEFINE_PROFILE macro. You can also fine some example through UDF manual.

Ok, Thank you. I'll try to do this...
