wedge elemnt layer in hexahedral meshed volume

Hi folks,

I'm modeling a submarine robot in a swimmingpool (like in a wind tunnel). So i've substracted the robot geometry from a big brick. Consequently, I've got only one volume. I would like to create a wedge element layer all over every surface of the robot (inner surfaces) and then fill the volume with hexahedral elements to the outer faces of the volume (which are also meshed with triangles). Does anyone know if it's possible with gambit and how to do it?

thanks in advance!

Jordi
