Mass conservation for eulerian simulation.

Hello everyone,

I've been doing for a while, gas-liquid Eulerian simulation with Fluent (bubble column or stirred tank). It is always impossible to conserve the volume fraction of water -primary phase, whatever the time step I use. Even with lowering the under relaxation factor velocity and/or volume fraction, water keeps on disappearing. My outlet condition is pressure outlet. If anyone has any clues about how to make a proper Eulerian multiphase simulation where the total mass is conserved, it would be great.

Cheers.

Hi, have you tried with the mixture model ?
