Surface roughness parameters -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

Venugopal Bachu Guest Posts: n/a	Hi! I am doing some CFD runs on manifolds - both cast and fabricated. Cast surface is very rough and fabricated is smooth. How do we model this difference in surface roughness? My guess is in Fluent ---> Boundary conditions--->wall-->Momentum---> and specify roughness height and roughness constant. But what values do we specify normally??? Thanks Venu
