I adopt VOF model to simulate gas-liquid two phase free surface flow in 3-dimension. Now, I would like to get the surface area of liquid phase occupied in a cell. How could I get it?

Thanks a lot!

Hi,

Simply you can create the Iso-surface with volume fraction of 0.5. Then you can calculate the area of that iso-surface in report-> surface integrals-> area panel

This is only approximation procedure. Because it will not get the cell area which has volume fraction less than 0.5

Hope it will help you

with warm regards, JSM
