December 21, 2007, 05:04 Please help with simulation of PCM #1 rosol Guest   Posts: n/a Dear all , I have to simulate the flow and heat transfer of phase change materials in fluent but I don't know how to do that in fluent what is the difference from the pure fluid and how to introduce the effect of phase change and the meltting of pcm since the energy equation is differ from the single fluid. Please who know how to do that to help me because I need that urgently Thanks alot

Regards

I think maybe you can first calculate the PCM boundary condition in water, set PCM as solid,Then build PCM separately with boundary condition(obtain from first calculation).
