EHD modeling with FLUENT
Dear all
I'm trying to model EHD with FLUENT. I must solve the Gauss equation that is a diffusion equation and charge conservation equation that is a convection type equation. del(eps*del(pot))=qc div(qc(b.E+U))=b.qc^2/eps (E and U are vectors) where E=-grad(pot) and eps and b are permittivity and mobility of fluid respectively and pot and qc are potential and charge density. I have written some UDFs but when I run the Fluent, solution diverges immediately with this message: "divergence detected in AMG solver: uds-0" Under relaxations don't have any effect to solve this problem. hi my friends
i have a university project that i explain it for you. there is a cylindrical combustion chamber in my project with 5 cm diameter,30 cm height and there is a cylindrical burner with 1 cm diameter,3 cm height in the end of combustion chamber.burnur's fuel is premixed methan.also there is a wire with electric current(I) at the center of cylinder.this wire make an electric field around itself and affect on flame that exit from burnur.now i want model it with CFX or FLUENT.i hope that i could explain it as well as you want . can i model it??? are there any body who help me??? :-( |
