How to get the facet areas in a plane

I want to calculate the mass flow rate at each cell in fluent in a plane. To do so, i require the 'facet area' normal to the flow direction, say, z-direction.

local mass flow rate = rho*facet_area*Vz

How do i do this? I am not looking for surface integrals.
