Default contour of 3d velocity magnitude as data file

hi How can I save the results of a 3d velocity field as a data file (x,y,z) in order to plot it in other application? I would like to obtain a similar plot like the -contour plot- obtained in Fluent postprocessor, but using a different software. thanks.... fran
