Hi all

I have to simulate the flow and heat transfer in channel under a constant pressure drop and renold No. but the problem is fluent solve the coupling of velocity and pressure and compute them together .I need to solve the momentum equation with constant pressure drop and constant value of Renold No.

Please how to specify the value of pr.drop across the channel with specifying the value of velocity at the inlet to specify the value of Re

Thanks alot

Hello.

Did you figure out how to specify a pressure drop across a device?

I have a 4.5m*2m cylinder, and I need to specify a pressure drop across the midplane of this cylinder.

An easy way would be to specify this plane as an inlet, and make the relative pressure be the pressure drop, but then I would need to specify the other parameters (temperature etc..), while I only have a pressure drop across the device.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.
