catalytic reactions - solid species?

Dear users, I am trying to model catalytic reactions in a fixed bed. For the gas phase reactions I have used the Gri30-Mechanism in chemkin format. This works fine. Now I am including the catalytic reactions as posted on www.detchem.com unter mechanism. There I am using the chemkin file for reforming of methane over nickel. The problem is that no reactions are taking place because the gas composition remains the same as when I am using only the gas phase mechanism. Any suggestions? Thanx for your help! Claud
