Default Residence time contours?

Hello,

I want to plot contours of residence time to determine the age of air in an enclosed space. Can anybody help me? Simply plotting 3d pathlines does not help at all - the flow is too messy to visualize.

What I need is a 2d contour plot of residence time based on how long it takes the discrete phase to exit one of my sub-volumes when released as a group from a face.

Please help - i'm really stuck here!

Carlos.
