Help for Basic UDF.......
 
Hi friends can any body please help me to write an UDF for Velocity inlet with respect to time for following readings please........

Time(s) Velocity(m/s) 5 3 7 5 10 8

Try the step-by-step example given in the UDF manual which uses DEFINE_PROFILE. It should be fairly straightforward to understand it.

generate a relation of x or y velocity w.r.t. time, such that the above values (the ones which you have) are generated how to do it ? plot the values in excel, and when you do the regression, you can easily derive a relation

once this is done, use the Macro Define_Profile to make the UDF a very good example is shown in page 2-70 in Fluent 6.3 UDF guide...if you dont have it, let me know..i will send the guide ...and dont post same question again and again please.
