modelling corner vanes with porous media

hi all!

i´m trying to model some wind tunnel corner vanes by using the porous media boundary condition under fluent. The idea is to realize a 90 degree direction change by setting the inertial resistance in one direction to the max.

the problem is, even if i reset the inertial resistance to zero i´ll get a pressure loss coefficient of 0.2 which is way to high. A value of 0.12 would be right.

do you have any ideas how to achieve a value of 0.12 and realizing a direction change of 90 degrees at the same time? (without modelling a corner vane geometry.)

thanks!

regards matt
