modelling corner vanes with porous media

hi all!

im trying to model some wind tunnel corner vanes by using the porous media boundary condition under fluent. The idea is to realize a 90 degree direction change by setting the inertial resistance in one direction to the max.

the problem is, even if i reset the inertial resistance to zero ill get a pressure loss coefficient of 0.2 which is way to high. A value of 0.12 would be right.

do you have any ideas how to achieve a value of 0.12 and realizing a direction change of 90 degrees at the same time? (without modelling a corner vane geometry.)

thanks!

regards matt
