Hello everyone, I am wondering how to generate the wall boundary layer region based on the existed mesh. I mean, if the fluent case file includes only ------------------ Flow ----------------- wall

How can I generate the following case in Fluent? ------------------ Flow ------------------ ///////////////(wall boudary layer) ----------------- wall

I know it can be done in Gambit (very complicated in my case), but I want to know whether there is convenient way to do in Fluent.

Thank you for your reply!

Cheers

sarah

Hi!

The only thing comming to my mind would be the mesh adaption in Fluent: Adapt-->Region

Hope this helps

Hi!

What do you mean by separation of the wall region? - creating a new (fluid?) zone in Fluent perhaps? This can be done by Grid-->Separate-->Cells
