postprocessing - surface - plane

Hi everybody,

I am simulating the flow over a 3D wing. Now, I would like to compare the pressure plots for a couple of 2D aerofoils / wing sections with experimental data. The problem is: when I create a "plane" at the section of interest, then I capture indeed the whole plane. But I am only interested in the wing section / 2D aerofoil. So it should be the "intersection" between created plane and the 3D wing. Does anybody know how to do this? Thank you very much in advance.

Cheers

I haven't exactly been able to understand what you mean by only wing section but whatever I have understood my suggestion is like this - whenever you create a plane in Fluent you can select a particular fluid zone or zones through which the plane should pass. If you have tagged wing section fluid separately then just select that fluid zone and create plane. It will give you only what you want.
